A Room of Her Own

A Room of Her Own is a self-described "graveyard site" - in other words, it hasn't had any new material added since 2002 and is highly unlikely to be updated in the future.  However, the site still houses some impressive stories and poetry by lesbian authors.

AC's Corner Cafe

AC's Corner Cafe hosts a range of fiction and fanfiction stories by some of the most talented online authors.  The stories are predominantly written for gay men, but many of their hosted stories could be enjoyed by any reader.

AwesomeDude

Specialising in fiction and poetry for gay males, AwesomeDude has become the leading site of its kind.  With a range of extremely talented authors and compelling stories, anyone who is a fan of gay poetry and prose is certain to find something they'll like here.

Beverly's Balcony

A graphic-intensive site that can take a while to load for users with slower connections, but if you've got time and patience this site is definitely worth a visit.  Home to a wealth of high-quality stories by transgender authors, this is undoubtedly the premier site of its kind.

The Big Closet

The Big Closet is home to a healthy collection of transgender fiction and erotica.  The original and classic sections house stories of varying quality, but the topshelf section is home to some excellent works of fiction.

CRVBoy

Though a modest site, CRVBoy has acquired an impressive list of authors and stories.  Emphasising on fiction for gay males, the site has attained a much-deserved reputation for hosting quality writing.

Fanfiction.net

Fanfiction.net is the biggest archive for fanfiction stories and poetry on the Net with literally tens of thousands of stories sorted into hundreds of different categories.  This is one of the sites The Hub recommends to its authors for hosting their fanfiction works.

FictionMania

FictionMania is very difficult to navigate, but anyone interested in transgender fiction would benefit from persevering.  With well over 10,000 stories in their archive, you won't always find the best quality fiction there, but if you look hard you can find some real gems.

FictionPress

FictionPress is home to a massive archive of stories and poetry arranged into dozens of easy to use categories.  The quality varies and it's easy to miss the work of a great author in such a big archive, but it's worth exploring.

Literotica

Literotica is not exactly home to high-brow fiction, but it does host some reasonable quality erotica.  Be warned though, you can find some pretty nasty stories on there too.  Catering mainly for a heterosexual audience, it does have some gay, lesbian and transgender fiction.

Maddy Bell

Maddy Bell's site is a relatively small one when compared to many of the other writing sites out there, but it is brimming with quality fiction by some of the most gifted online transgender authors.  Fans of transgender fiction should definitely check this site out.

Mel's Webs

Mel's Webs is an active, well cared for site comprising forums where lesbian women can share and discuss their stories, poetry and art.  As with all open-posting forums, the quality varies, but there is some extremely good writing to be found here.

Nifty Erotic Stories Archive

Nifty is one of the largest fiction repositories on the Net, with sections for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender readers.  A lot of the stories are fairly poor quality, but the site also host stories by some of the most acclaimed online authors.

Sapphire's Place

Sapphire's Place is, without a doubt, the premier site for transgender fiction.  With numerous talented authors and countless captivating stories, anyone with an interest in transgender, transsexual or transvestite fiction should definitely visit this site.

StorySite

StorySite is one of the largest archives for transgender fiction on the Net, with literally thousands of stories by hundreds of different authors.  As with all such sites, the quality varies, but there is enough good writing to make it worth a visit for transgender story fans.

The Cove

With an impressive library of fiction, fanfiction and slash fiction stories, The Cove is one of the leading lights in online writing.  The Hub strongly recommends this site to any of its authors who need somewhere to publish their gay or straight slash or fanfiction stories.

The Fort

The focal point of the vast "Fort Family" of online fiction sites, The Fort hosts work by some of the best online authors active today and has a thriving archive of fiction and fanfiction stories, as well as links to other fiction sites within its family network.

Writing.Com

If there's a story site with more individual submissions anywhere on the web, we've yet to find it.  At Writing.com anyone is welcome to sign up and share their work.  Most submissions are aimed at the mainstream market, but there is also a good Gay/Lesbian section.
