Welcome to The Hub Hall of Fame, where our authors, past and present, are forever immortalised as a tribute to their valued and varied contribution to this site.

Authors are listed in the order they joined us.  Beneath their names, which also contain direct links to their sites, you will find some information about each author, including the date they joined us, the date of their promotion to their current status (if applicable) and a bit about the type of work you will find on their sites.

The numbers inside the icons beside each author name indicates the order in which that author joined The Hub.  The colour of the icon represents their current status here.  Gold icons denote current Resident Authors.  Silver icons denote current Featured Authors.  Purple icons denote authors whose work can no longer be found at The Hub (a link may be provided if it can be found elsewhere).

Rob Hawes

Rob was the first author to join The Hub, but as co-owner and Site Administrator that's hardly surprising.  He became our first Resident Author on January 7th, 2007, nearly eight months before the site was officially opened.  He writes both gay and straight fiction in a variety of genres, but prefers dark drama and horror.

Madrigal

Madrigal was the second author to join The Hub, joining us on March 3rd, 2007.  Madrigal mostly writes poetry, though he has also produced a number of extremely impressive works of fiction.  His stories, like his poetry, are generally dark and emotional, dealing with life, love, cruelty and pain in a stark and powerful manner.

Camy

Camy joined us as a Resident Author on March 4th, 2007 and was a key member of our pre-launch team.  He writes both fiction and poetry, though it's mostly his stories you'll find here at The Hub.  He writes in a range of genres and his work is mainly gay-themed in nature.

Tanya Allan

Tanya Allan is perhaps The Hub's most prolific author, with a vast portfolio of stories and poetry, much of which is being gradually added to The Hub.  She joined us as a Resident Author on July 3rd, 2007.  She writes in a range of genres, including romance and mystery, and much of her work is transgender-themed.

Johnny Dawson

Joining us on July 13th, 2007, Johnny Dawson became The Hub's first Featured Author.  Johnny writes mostly horror stories, his work targeted at the mainstream market, and he also writes song lyrics submitted here as poetry.  Given the nature of his work, it is ironic that Johnny's site was brought online on Friday 13th.

Drifter

When his site was brought online on July 16th, 2007, Drifter became The Hub's first poetry-only author, a testament to the site's dedication to provide a forum for gifted poets as well as authors.  Our most prolific poet to date, his work often looks at the darker side of life and is frequently intense and emotional in nature.

Julien Gregg

Julien joined The Hub as a Featured Author on July 23rd, 2007, and was promoted to Resident Author status on November 5th, 2007.  An established Internet author, Julien's stories are almost exclusively gay-themed and written in a range of genres.  His best known work is his autobiographical novel "Storyville".

outofmymind123

Joining us as a Featured Author on the day The Hub officially opened, August 1st, 2007, outofmymind123, or Caroline to her friends, writes almost exclusively in the romance genre for a mainstream audience.  Her work has proven extremely popular here at The Hub and is the perfect antidote to some of the darker stories found here.

Sinbad

The first author to join us after The Hub officially opened to the public, Sinbad became a Featured Author here on August 10th, 2007.  His stories were predominantly gay-themed romance.  On December 27th 2007, Sinbad elected to withdraw from The Hub for personal reasons.

Alexis

At the time she joined us, on August 12th, 2007, Alexis was the youngest author here at The Hub, just sixteen years of age, but the quality of her work far surpassed her years.  Writing mostly historical fiction and fantasy stories, with a smattering of poetry, Alexis has become a popular mainstream author here at The Hub.

colinian (aka Colin Kelly)

Joining us as a Featured Author on August 17th, 2007, colinian (or Colin Kelly, as he is also known) has published a number of gay-themed fiction stories here at The Hub.  Writing in multiple genres, his work is often emotionally evocative and always makes for compulsive reading.

Ieshwar

Originally joining us as a Featured Author on August 26th, 2007, Ieshwar was promoted to Resident Author status on December 5th.  His stories are mainly gay-themed and written in a variety of genres, and he has also written a number of poems.  On April 26th 2008, Ieshwar elected to step down as a Resident Author at The Hub.

Bardeara

When Bardeara joined us as a Featured Author on October 21st, 2007, he became the last of our original batch of invited authors (those offered hosting prior to August 1st, 2007) to join us.  His stories are mostly gay-themed.  On May 3rd 2008 Bardeara requested an indefinite hiatus from The Hub for personal reasons

Bev

Bev's work is very different to that of the other authors here at The Hub, and could best be categorised as fairytales for adults.  Since she joined us as a Resident Author on November 10th, 2007, Bev has supplied us with a constant stream of enchanting stories that almost any reader would thoroughly enjoy.

Rossy

Rossy joined us as a Featured Author on November 28th, 2007, bringing with him some of the finest fiction and poetry published at The Hub.  Some of his work is gay-themed, but it is certain to appeal to a mainstream readership.  On July 3rd, Rossy stepped down as a Featured Author and left The Hub.

Kitty

Kitty is a gifted author, both of stories and of poetry.  She joined us as a Featured Author on December 31st, 2007.  Kitty's work cannot easily be categorised into any single genre or theme, but rather her work has broad appeal to many different readers.  On June 24th 2008 Kitty decided to leave The Hub.

Kaiten

Kaiten was the first author to join us in 2008, becoming a Featured Author on January 4th.  She was also our first true "home-grown" author, writing her first story for our very first Anthology.  She is still finding her niche, exploring different genres, so her work cannot be easily labelled as anything other than "fantastic".

Heather Rose Brown

Heather was the first non-Founding member to become an author at The Hub, becoming a Featured Author on January 14th, 2008.  A talented author, poet and artist, Heather writes both transgender-themed and mainstream fiction in a variety of genres, most commonly fantasy, and she has also written a number of high quality poems.

Merkin

James Merkin was promoted to Featured Author status on January 16th, 2008.  At the time of his promotion, Merkin was only the second poetry-only author at The Hub, and anyone who has read his emotive, compelling works can easily understand why The Hub's Administrators were delighted to see his name added here.

BeaStKid

Though BeaStKid is relatively new to the world of writing, only beginning his first story in June 2007, the quality of his writing was such that we were proud to promote him to Featured Author status on February 8th, 2008.  His stories are eclectic in style, often involving gay characters/themes, and he has also written some quality poetry.

Rad Steven

Rad Steven joined the ranks of the Resident Authors on March 22nd 2008, the first author in 2008 to be granted Resident status at The Hub.  An established and respected author and poet, Rad Steven's work can be found on many sites across the Net.  His stories primarily centre around gay characters in his native Philippines.

Dreamer in Exile

After less than two months as a Hub Community member and Guest Author, Dreamer in Exile (Hattie) was promoted to Featured Author status on May 10th, 2008.  The author of multiple stories and poems, Hattie's work is varied in style and subject, creating both a stylish and eclectic range of work for her readers to enjoy.

Ariel

One of the first members to join The Hub, before the site even officially opened, Ariel has served as a staff member since the early days of the site and became a Featured Author on May 16th, 2008.  Writing mostly poetry, her writing is rich and elegant, with a gentle, flowing style and a very unique flavour.

Jason Rimbaud

The twenty-fourth author to be hosted at The Hub, Jason Rimbaud became a Resident Author on May 25th, 2008.  Only the second author to be given the Prolific Poet Award immediately upon hosting, Jason's stories and poetry are often gay-themed, frequently dark and always elegant, intelligent and hugely enjoyable to readers.
